We are a grassroots effort that is working hard to collect signatures, keep folks organized, and have fun too. As you know, we are having some signature contests and participation contests to keep things interesting and fun. Due to how busy we have been, we have not announced the winner of the April 29 – May 12 signature contest because we have not had a chance to count the signatures yet (we have full-time jobs plus we are doing this recall). And we need to still have the drawing for the ProMag magazines. We will have those winners drawn this Sunday, May 19, and the signatures counted (we hope) by Sunday as well. But we also want to announce some other really cool and fun prizes that we have for those collecting signatures and participating in our signature events. The next signature contest is for all petitions turned in between May 13 and May 27. The top two signature collectors for that period of time will each receive a $100 Visa gift card (many thanks to Robert Blancken and Scott Dunphey).

And thanks to the generous donations of Paul Paradis from Paradise Firearms who is also one of the persons who submitted the petition to the Secretary of State, we have some nice 2nd amendment related prizes to give away. For everyone who participated in a Sign & Drive this week on your own, we will have a drawing for a box of ammo. We think we know who you are, but please Contact Us to ensure we didn’t miss anyone. Also, for everyone who participates in a Sign & Drive event or works at one of the stores this weekend, we will have two drawings to give away a box of ammo. We will also have a drawing for the volunteers who are doing Sign & Drive events during the week next week. Not wanting to leave out our door to door workers, our schedulers will provide us your names so that we can have a drawing for you as well.

And for Memorial Day weekend, we will be announcing some major events that we will need everyone’s participation in. In addition to a couple of drawings for ammo from our volunteer list of those who participate in those events, Paul has also donated a $25 gift card for use at his store.

It gets better folks. As you know, we have a grand prize for the person who collects the most signatures during the entire campaign which is a 9mm Kahr 9M with stainless steel slide. But we also know that it is not just one person who makes this successful. It is the efforts of many people. So Paul donated a SARB6P 9mm pistol with a 15 round magazine from SAR ARMS for which we will a drawing from a list of ALL SIGNATURE COLLECTORS WHO TURNED IN A PETITION WITH AT LEAST 5 SIGNATURES ON IT. This means everyone who has collected 5 signatures or more including those people who start helping this weekend is eligible to win this nice handgun.

Unlike Morse, we know that this is a grass-roots effort. And grass-roots efforts like this recall take a lot of folks working on their own and with others collecting signatures going door to door, sitting at stores, and standing on street corners. And because EVERY VALID SIGNATURE COUNTS, we wanted to have a chance to reward those who are making this recall a reality.

Please note that Paul donated boxes of several different calibers. So those who win an ammo drawing will be allowed to choose from the ammo available at the time when they choose their winning box. We have some 556 and 223 as well as some 44 Mag and 45 Colt.

While all of these prizes are fun, please remember the goal is to collect valid signatures to RECALL MORSE. So we are asking that everyone spend at least 10 hours per week over the next two weeks helping to collect signatures. This will help ensure a large enough buffer to overcome any and all challenges that Morse and his minions will bring against us. We want to recall Morse, but we also like to have fun.

Together, YOU DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Thank you for your support.
